The service
Text2Domain is an AI domain-name generator. You describe a business or project, pick top-level domains (TLDs), get name ideas, and can check availability. The site is in English. There are no user accounts or login.
Operator
What we collect
When you generate names, we receive:
- the description you type
- the TLDs you select
Our servers also keep normal technical logs (for example IP address, time, and request details) to run and protect the site. If Google Analytics is enabled, it may also record page views and similar usage information.
How we use it
We use your description and selected TLDs to generate name ideas and check whether those names appear available. We do not create an account from this information.
Who we send it to
- Google Gemini. Your description leaves our server and is sent to Google so it can generate name ideas.
- Name.com. Suggested domain names are sent to Name.com’s checkAvailability API, which returns availability and any premium purchase price.
- Google Analytics. If analytics is enabled on the site, usage data may be sent to Google Analytics.
The site is hosted as a Next.js app on DigitalOcean App Platform, with Cloudflare in front.
Registering a name
We do not sell domains and we are not a registrar. Register opens Name.com (https://www.name.com/domain/search/{domain}) in a new tab. That step is on Name.com’s site, under Name.com’s own terms and privacy policy.
Cookies and analytics
If Google Analytics is enabled, Google may set cookies or use similar technology to measure how the site is used. We do not add extra tracking beyond that.
Availability
Availability can change quickly. We do not promise that a name shown as available will still be available, or that it is right for you.
